EIB/KNX Stack test

The “stack test” is necessary when you do not use an already certified bus coupling unit but you use a different microprocessor to implement the protocol stack.

As a typical example you could use the “TP-UART” that provides the TP physical layer and the physical part of the link layer. Then you can connect a separate microprocessor for the system stack and the application.

In this case or if you modify the common system stack it is necessary to execute the stack test according to the regulations of KNX Association.
