DIAL is pleased to welcome Everlight Electronics as the first Taiwanese partner in the DIALux circle. This company, founded in 1983, now operates worldwide and specializes in the production of LED luminaires. The DIAL booth was designated as this year’s best booth for its exceptional design and product presentation. In Las Vegas, USA, LUMsearch, the new online luminaire search engine, and also DIALux were presented on large-scale screens. The focus of public attention was on DIALux evo, the new software platform, which is currently available as a beta version. DIAL exhibited for the fifth time in succession at the largest annual US trade fair for architectural and commercial lighting. 

We are pleased to welcome Tecno Lite as our first DIALux partner from Mexico. We look forward to presenting the online and offline plugIn of this manufacturer of indoor and outdoor luminaires in the near future. Tecno Lite is one of the largest Latin-American manufacturers and offers a wide range of products which includes technical and decorative luminaires as well as LEDs. At this year’s light+building in Frankfurt Flashlight from Greece filmed a presentation of the latest generation of DIALux. Klaus Bieckmann (lighting designer and trainer at DIAL) demonstrates in approx. 20 minutes the functions of DIALux evo. You can watch this video here and try out the beta version at beta.dialux.com.

Since light+building in Frankfurt DIALux evo has been freely available to any planners interested in this. Anyone can download the beta version now from the new software platform at beta.dialux.com.  DIALux evo offers the planner a completely new approach. Room-based light planning is no longer up to date. Now the building in its entirety including the effect from outside is taken into account. We will be pleased to receive any feedback in the forum set up for this purpose at betatest.dialux.com.

From 9 to 11 May you will find us at stand 6015 in the Building Integration Pavilion. We will present the key features of DIALux, the one and only absolutely free light calculation software. Not only will you find the existing DIALux 4 generation but you will also have the opportunity to obtain a first impression of the completely new and innovative software platform DIALux evo which is available at present as a beta version. Within the framework of the Lightfair you will have the chance from 7 May to get to know the basics of DIALux in a two-day course “Computer-aided lighting design with DIALux”. The most important exhibition worldwide for the lighting industry, light building in Frankfurt, is heralded by the addition of five luminaires manufacturers to our circle of DIALux partners at the beginning of April. The wide range of products which these manufacturers offer further increases the benefits of DIALux for the user. Soon the electronic catalogues of over 160 luminaire manufacturers will be available to users of DIALux 4 and DIALux evo. Then light planners, architects, engineers etc. will have access to luminaires from all fields of this industry and can use them in their projects. We are pleased to welcome R. Stahl to the circle of DIALux partners. This company with its headquarters in Waldenburg specializes in explosion proof luminaires. The products are used for single lighting solutions, in floodlighting and emergency lighting. R. Stahl has distribution network operating worldwide and also provides complete customer- and market-oriented solutions. We would like to extend a hearty welcome to Eglosphere, a manufacturer from Austria with headquarters in Pill. Eglosphere offers luminaires which are particularly suitable for shop lighting. For the time being Eglosphere’s main market is in Europe. The DIALux plugIn is at present in the development stage and will be available shortly. Northcliffe Lighting manufactures luminaires for indoor and outdoor applications. On request special luminaires are manufactured to specific requirements.
