Quality management

In 1998 we had already set up a quality management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO/EC 17025. We were the first in Germany to operate an accredited and manufacturer-independent photometric laboratory.

At the centre of our photometry is absolute measurable retraceability to the both nationally and internationally applicable light density standard of the Physikalisch-technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) - national physical/technical institute for Germany. Our quality management ensures the greatest accuracy and reproducibility of each single measurement. At regular intervals the accreditation institute DAkkS controls whether we are qualified to carry out measurements and do this with the required reproducibility and in accordance with currently applicable regulations. Adherence to our own QM system is also monitored. The DAkkS is a member of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation ILAC which means that our accreditation for measuring and testing services is internationally recognized.
