In the winter semester 2019/2020 the new course of study Master of Lighting Design will begin. The content of this course was developed in cooperation between the University of Ostwestfalen-Lippe and DIAL GmbH (formerly German Institute for Applied Lighting Technology).

DIALux evo 8.1 was released recently (here you can download it free of charge). For us one thing is always true: When one version is released, the next is always on its way. Our developers are, therefore, already working at full steam on the DIALux evo 9.0 version which will come onto the market in the first half of 2019.
The latest version of DIAL’s lighting design software – DIALux evo 8.1 – is now available for download free of charge. With this update the software is not only faster but also offers many new features which make the user’s work easier. Among the new features are a help function, an assistant for importing DWG plans and documentation for zones extending over several floors.
Our DIALux software is used by more than 750 000 lighting designers all over the world. That is why DIALux training not only takes place at our headquarters in Lüdenscheid and other European cities but also worldwide thanks to our trainer network. We would like to introduce you to our trainers and show you what inspires lighting designers in their daily work.
In November DIAL will be releasing its latest version of the DIALux lighting design software – DIALux evo 8.1. With this update not only will the software work faster, but there will also be many new features which make the user’s work easier. One of the innovations is planning staircases over several floors.
