Photometry in Practice
Understanding, applying and evaluating light measurement
Dates & Booking Course contents Trainer Contact
This seminar is aimed at professionals working in photometric laboratories who want to deepen their knowledge of light measurement.
Together with our experts, you will take a practical look at the most important photometric methods – from measuring illuminance with handheld lux meters to luminous flux measurements in integrating spheres and luminous intensity distribution measurements using goniophotometers. We will also cover relevant international standards such as EN 13032 and IES LM-79.
The focus is on hands-on exercises in small groups. You will carry out your own measurements, evaluate the results and discuss with our specialists how to interpret them – including the uncertainties that must be considered in everyday lab work.
The seminar takes place in our photometric laboratory, accredited according to ISO/IEC 17025:2018. Take advantage of over 30 years of experience and direct exchange with our measurement professionals.
